SSLs and CTLs receive Top 50 new product award

Wacker Neuson’s new skid steer and compact track loaders have been named to Equipment Today’s Contractors’ Top 50 New Products for 2015. The editorial teams from the national commercial construction publication, Equipment Today, and ForConstructionPros.com compiled product inquiries and web page views May 2014 to April 2015. The result is the 2015 Contractor’s Top 50 New Products listing of the industry’s favored products.

According to the publication, the winning products represent the leading edge of innovation, quality, efficiency and environmental conversation in the construction equipment field today. Wacker Neuson’s skids steers and compact track loaders were introduced in 2014 as the newest loaders to enter the North American market. These skid steer and compact track loaders deliver performance and durability and are assembled with quality components at Wacker Neuson’s USA plant in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  

The skid steer models include the SW24 radial lift skid steer loader that delivers 2,350 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50% of tip load and a lift height up to 10-ft 5-in. The SW28 is a vertical lift skid steer offering 2,800 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50% of tip load and a class leading lift height of 11-ft 2-in. 

The ST35 radial lift compact track loader delivers 3,500 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50% of tip load and a lift height up to 10-ft 5-in. The ST45 is a vertical lift unit ideal for digging and lifting. The ST45 delivers 4,500 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50% of tip load and a class leading lift height of 11-ft 2-in.  

All machines are equipped with a 74.3-HP turbo charged Perkins Tier 4 final engine with maintenance free PMC (Particulate Matter Catalyst) after treatments. The SW and ST models are available with either H-pattern or ISO joystick hydraulic pilot controls. The ergonomically designed controls along with the pressurized cabs deliver comfort and visibility, reducing operator fatigue and increasing safety. Wacker Neuson’s skid steer and compact track loaders are backed by a 2-year or 2000 hour (whichever occurs first) standard factory warranty in the US and Canada.
